A quick update:
Since I last posted I've been published on the Weston Mercury Website! It's my first article to get published after loads of trying and I felt really excited when I got an email telling me it had been published. I'm always on the lookout for things to write about, but as I spend most weekends away and I work in Clevedon during the week to be honest I don't really know what goes on in Weston. I did submit another article following a car accident I saw, but they didn't consider there to be enough human interest to warrant publishing it - but I didn't mind, 1 out of 2 ain't bad!

I'm in the middle of doing some creative writing homework at the moment. It's a short story which has to be below 1,500 words and has to include a significant change. One of my colleagues gave me an idea which I'm working on, but as I've been working on it most of the day I really need to take a break for now.
Hopefully it won't be another month until I post again, but you never know - I might be too busy getting published!!
