Dark Secrets 2 by Elizabeth Chandler

No time to die

Jenny was devastated when she found out her sister Liza had died while she was away at drama camp. But the very next summer Jenny decides to join the same drama camp against the advice of her actor parents to try and discover why Liza was so keen for her to visit.

To avoid being known as 'the dead girl's sister', Jenny signs up under a false name and begins to try and experience what Liza had the previous summer, but there's something about her sister's death which doesn't seem right to Jenny and she's determined to find out what happened.

The deep end of fear

After leaving her childhood home following a tragic accident 12 years ago, Kate has mixed feelings about returning. But with her fathers last request in her mind Kate fulfills his wish, though not everyone is happy to see her again.

As she begins to settle back into her surroundings, Kate starts to work as a nanny for Patrick, the son of the owner of the house, but as the family members begin to fight between themselves and Kate spends more time with them, she realises things are beginning to repeat themselves from her own childhood.

With things becoming more and more familiar to Kate and with the memory of her childhood friends death at the forefront of her mind, Kate has to face up to her memories and stop history repeating itself.

Both of these stories had me hooked from the start and I really enjoyed them.

If you like stories that keep you gripped until the end, then this book is one for you.
