Helen is a single book shop owner in the sleepy town of
Loblolly by the Sea whose life is transformed by the discovery of an anonymous
love letter in the shop.
With no idea who wrote it, Helen begins on a quest to
find out who sent it which allows her to open herself to a colleague she hasn’t
thought of romantically before, but also threatens her friendship with others.
In a small town, it’s surprising how powerful a love letter
can be.
Co-starring Ellen DeGeneres & Tom Selleck, unfortunately
this film didn’t grab me as much as I’d hoped when I picked it up from the
pre-owned shelf in Blockbusters. I wouldn’t recommend it.
