Cellular - review

After dropping her son off at school Jessica Martin (Kim Basinger) is kidnapped and held at gunpoint by a gang of armed robbers. As they demand to know the whereabouts of her husband she manages to dial a random phone number and gets connected to Ryan (Chris Evans).

With his suspicions roused as she informs him that she has been kidnapped, it’s a race against time for Ryan to persuade the police to take him seriously and rescue Jessica.

Starring Jason Statham, with a strange American accent, as the main robber & William H Macy as a retiring cop, this film didn’t keep me as hooked as I’d hoped, but it was worth a one off watch.
