The Da Vinci Code - review

During a trip to Paris to promote his latest book, Symbologist Robert Langdon is called upon to help when a body is discovered in the Louvre surrounded by symbols & codes.

Robert is suspicious and when policewoman Sophie Nevau informs him that he is being framed for the murder and her grandfather left a message for him to be contacted, the pair team up to clear his name and discover hidden messages in Da Vinci paintings which lead them on a quest to discover the hiding place of the legendary holy grail.

But as they follow the clues set out for them while being on the run from the law, the enormity of their quest is realised when they discover they could be about to expose one of the church’s biggest ever secrets and there are people determined to stop them.

Based on the bestselling novel by Dan Brown, The Da Vinci Code is a thrilling murder mystery which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Although stretched out a bit too long for my liking, I would definitely recommend it.
