Larry Crowne - review

When hardworking supermarket assistant Larry is called into the office he and his colleagues are convinced he’ll be awarded colleague of the month again.

So he’s shocked when he’s told that due to not having a college education and therefore no ability to move up the career ladder, he’s being sacked.

With no job Larry decides to enrol in college on a public speaking course as well as economics to further himself and in the process of embracing student life he finds himself allowing friends to change him for the better and ends up falling for his tutor who spends most of her time trying to drink away her failing marriage.

A sweet romantic comedy starring Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts which I thoroughly enjoyed.
