The Heat - review

Sandra Bullock stars as Sarah Ashburn, a by the book FBI agent while Shannon Mullins (Melissa McCarthy) is a no holds barred Boston cop.

With no issue about chasing after suspects in her car, Shannon is passionate about her job and won’t let anything get in the way of justice – including Sarah.

When Sarah is located to Boston to bring down a drug lord in the hope of gaining promotion, she immediately clashes with Shannon by interviewing a suspect without her and not allowing her details of the case.

But when Sarah tries to get Shannon removed from the case, she is informed that no one knows Boston as well as Detective Mullins and therefore they are forced to work together resulting in a fun, fast paced action comedy which I really enjoyed.

Although I enjoyed the movie, I did find quite a lot of the swearing unnecessary, but it didn’t spoil it for me and I would definitely recommend this movie.
