Confessions: The Paris Mysteries by James Patterson & Maxine Paetro

As Tandy and her family arrive in Paris following their boat journey from New York, Tandy makes her way to the Louvré and is standing in front of the person she never thought she would see again – James Rampling.

As the two of them embrace with years of shared grief and love for each other, Tandy can’t believe that after everything she’s been through she’s finally re-united with her true love. But after a short time together she is left alone again with James leaving only a short note letting her know that he will always love her.

Seperated once again, Tandy begins to settle into her new life in Paris along with her brothers and their guardian uncle Jacob as they learn about their inheritance and enjoy their new home which once belonged to their mysterious and wealthy grandma.

But as Tandy explores the house in an attempt to learn more about her grandma and tries to put the dramas of the past year behind her, they come back to haunt her as she digs deeper into her family and starts to discover more about her hated uncle Peter as well as the death of her beloved older sister Katherine.

They may be in another city, but as the Angel family once again come under threat from buried secrets, can they finally discover the truth about their family?

Having read the first two books in this series I was eager to read this one and having received it for Christmas I started reading on Boxing Day and devoured it in a matter of days (in between work and other things).

There’s something about the way James Patterson weaves a story that makes you want to read it right to the end without interruption and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I really hope he writes another book in the series as there are still so many questions left unanswered that we need answers to.
