Pitch Perfect 2 - review

The Barden Bellas are back and after winning 3 state championships in a row, they’re definitely the Acapella group of the moment. But when they disgrace themselves during a performance for the President of the United States and are suspended from competing, they must work hard to re-discover their sound and fighting spirit.

Aided by new member Emily, whose mum was also a Barden Bella, the group learn all they can about Das Sound Machine, the group who took over their tour while still keeping up with competition at riff-offs.

But as Beca juggles a secret internship at a record company as well as trying to impress her boss and spend time with the Bellas, she finds herself torn between her 2 passions, something the rest of the Bellas have started to notice. With the World Championship coming up, can she summon up the passion to help the Bellas get back to their best and beat the competition?

This sequel was better than the original movie in my opinion. With Rebel Wilson in it, it couldn’t fail to raise a smile and provided me with a fun movie which I would recommend and watch again.
