frustrated!

I know it's only January, but I was thinking about saving my holiday entitlement up at work so I've got enough to have a week off in the summer, but because I'm still a temp part time if I want to have 5 mornings off I have to work 10 weeks solid! If I'm off for a day, whether it's sick leave or holiday, I don't earn any holiday for that week, so for the next 10 weeks I have to make sure I'm at work every day. It's very rare that I'm not there, but if I want a day off now I've got to think about whether I need it or if I should save until August. It's so frustrating!!!

I was thinking about having a day off soon so I can concentrate on looking at magazine websites and find about their submissions policies, but if I do it's another week I have to work full to save up for holiday.

Anyway, hopefully I'll get some good news about my job going permanent soon or at least a pay rise, as I'm still paid on the basic wages which I was started on. People who work for the agency and have no experience are paid the same as I am, and when I started I already had 3 years experience, but I've already had words with my boss and he knows how I feel about it and is going to try his best to help me out, but I've already been waiting 2 years so I don't think it will be anytime soon.
