The Ghost - review

Ewan McGregor plays a journalist recruited to become the ghost writer of the former British Prime Minister, Adam Lang (Pierce Brosnan) after his previous writer dies under suspicious circumstances.

As he’s whisked away to join Adam on an island away from the hustle and bustle and begin editing the manuscript already written, The Ghost gets caught up in a political war as stories of Adam’s political past become known to the public threatening to derail the image he’s built up during the years.

With the circumstances around his predecessor’s death haunting him as well as the discovery of Adam’s secrets, The Ghost faces a race against time to get the truth out there without falling foul of the political force which helped Adam rise to power.

I really enjoyed this film as it’s different to what I normally watch, but I do like to think that I have a wide range of movie interests. It was one which I’d wanted to watch since I saw it advertised as a trailer when I went to the cinema to see another film and now that I have, I can say that it’s definitely worth a watch.
