Where the wild things are - review

Max, a 9 year old amuses himself by using his imagination - building a fort in the snow and chasing after the pet dog.

Feeling ignored and left out by his mum and older sister, he decides to run away in the middle of the night and after crossing a rough sea, he discovers an island where wild creatures live among the natural habitat.

Making friends and having fun with them, Max is voted their king but he soon discovers being in charge isn't always as fun as it seems.

I didn't really know what to expect from this film and wasn't that keen on watching it, but now that I have I feel I have the right to say I spent most of the film confused. Even though it's been billed as a watch for the whole family, I wouldn't be in a rush to see it again.
