Susie Salmon was only 14 years old when she was murdered on her way home from school. As her family try to come to terms with their loss, Susie watches from in between heaven and earth in the hope of connecting with her dad and letting him know who killed her.
Told through the voice of Susie, this film shows how true love never gives up.
Having read an enjoyed the book I was very wary about watching the film due to the way the story was told, but I'm glad I've now seen it. It wasn't exactly how I remember the story and a movie obviously can't capture you the way a book can, but it was a good interpretation with excellent visual scenes of the 'in between'.
