Tamara Drewe - review

Gemma Arterton stars as Tamara Drewe, once an ugly duckling and the butt of villagers jokes, she is now an attractive city girl with a high flying writing career.

When Tamara returns to the village of Ewedown, the locals can't believe how much she's changed and she's soon causing a stir among the local men.

A British film also starring Tamsin Greig and Dominic Cooper, I'd wanted to see it since I saw it advertised in the cinema, but now that I have I wouldn't particularly recommend it. I thought it would be a great british comedy full of laughs and though a few things made me laugh, I found myself watching the clock and waiting for it to end.

I ended up finding it quite boring and won't be watching it again.
