Whilst working as a New York newspaper intern for the summer, Erin (Drew Barrymore) meets Garrett (Justin Long), a down on his luck guy who recently split up with his girlfriend.After a one night stand and 6 weeks of hanging out, Erin returns home to San Francisco, but despite friends and family advice about long distance relationships, she and Garrett keep in touch through phone and email and take alternate flights back and forth to prove that despite being apart, they really can go the distance.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from this movie as I didn’t know much about it when I picked it up in the local supermarket, but I quite liked and enjoyed it. Drew’s films are normally my cup of tea, so I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a film to relax and laugh to.
