The Next Three Days - review

Russell Crowe stars as John Brennan whose wife is arrested and accused of murdering her boss. Convinced of her innocence, John works on a plan with the help of a former escapee to break her out of jail and allow them to start a new life with their young son. But his plan has to be dramatically brought forward when he’s informed his wife will be moved to another jail in the next three days.

An intense action thriller, the story stalls in a couple of places and makes you unsure of what’s happening, but the ending is the real disappointment with the family – one of which is a wanted jail escapee - seemingly getting past airport security without hesitation.

The premise of the film is enough to make you want to see it, but it failed to keep me interested or make me want to watch it again.
