As the first anniversary of Zoe’s death approaches, despite
her parents and friends beginning to move on, her younger sister Echo still can’t
believe she’s gone.
But as the realisation sets in, Echo focuses on starting a
fresh with her first year of high school and catching up with friends, until
Zoe’s boyfriend Marc unexpectedly shows up with her diary.
With there being nothing about Zoe that Echo doesn’t know,
she’s not interested in reading it. But as high school proves more difficult
than she thought, Echo begins to escape into Zoe’s thoughts and before long she’s
learning things about her sisters life she never knew.
I was excited to read this book after seeing it advertised
on the internet, so I asked for it as a Christmas present and as soon as I
started it I couldn’t put it down. The story had me gripped from the start and
I was disappointed when it ended.
Definitely a book worth reading.
