Told through flashbacks, a US senator reflects on his
lifelong friendship with free-spirited Melissa kept up over the years through
letters.
Meeting as young children Andrew and Melissa start to write to each
other to confirm birthday invitations and what they’re up to at the weekend,
but as they grow up and move in different directions their letters evolve to
keep their long distance friendship going.
A sweet afternoon TV movie which made me smile.
