Life as we know it - review

Holly & Eric (Messer) are 2 singles who having been set up by their mutual friends in the past have a distinct dislike for each other. Holly is a successful sandwich shop owner while Messer is a television director for a sports channel so they both have completely different priorities in life, until they are named as joint guardians for Sophie the daughter of their friends who unfortunately are killed in a car accident.

With one of the conditions of the guardianship being that Sophie is raised in the family home, both Holly & Messer move in together and try to forge a working relationship in order to bring up Sophie.

As they get used to thinking about and looking after someone else, they both struggle to give up their individual lifestyles and juggle the role of parenthood whilst working together to ensure Sophie is given the care her parents would have wanted.

Predictably they both end up falling for each other and together create a sweet family with Sophie.

A romantic comedy starring Katherine Heigl & Josh Duhamel which I thoroughly enjoyed and have watched several times since buying it.
