Cleaner - review

A gritty thriller starring Samuel L Jackson as a former cop turned crime scene cleaner.

When a job comes in to clean up a murder scene, Tom Cutler thinks nothing of it, but when he returns to the house the next day he becomes concerned when the owner of the house (Eva Mendes) appears to know nothing about it.

With his cop instincts in overdrive and the news of the disappearance of the woman’s husband spreading, Tom confides in his former partner about the situation.

But with the investigation gaining speed, Tom begin to realise he’s been set up and must work out who to trust while also avoiding being connected to the scene of the murder.

Despite the scenes of blood and gore – albeit only briefly – I really enjoyed this movie as it kept me interested to the end and I would never have guessed the ending.
