Mercury Rising - review

When an autistic 8 year old cracks an unbreakable secret government code disguised in a puzzle book, he quickly becomes the target of assassins who will stop at nothing to prevent him telling anyone.

Having been demoted since coming out of deep undercover work, Art Jeffries (Bruce Willis) is an FBI agent who is assigned to solve the murder of Simon’s parents. But what appears to be a murder suicide turns out to be much more complicated when Art finds Simon hiding in the wardrobe and unable to tell him what happened.

With Art assigned to protect Simon he has no idea who or what is threatening Simon’s safety, but when he discovers the meaning of the code Simon cracked he finds himself up against the Head of National Security to ensure Simon is protected.

A fast paced action thriller co-starring Alec Baldwin which had me on the edge of my seat.

Definitely worth a watch.
