Ted - review

When John Bennett made a wish for his teddy bear to come to life he had no idea it would work, but it did and ever since they have been side by side throughout life.

Fast forward to adulthood and as John has grown up, so has Ted. No longer the sweet natured teddy bear he once was, Ted is now an adult bear and has the same interests as John – women, alcohol and sex.

Famous for being a talking teddy bear Ted has his own level of popularity, but as best friends he is determined to stay close with John despite the fact that John is now in a relationship with Lori.

With his friendship with Ted straining his relationship with Lori, maybe it’s time John grew up and said goodbye to Ted.

Starring Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis and the voice of Seth MacFarlane, this comedy had more swearing and crude moments than I thought meaning that I didn’t enjoy as much as I’d hoped.

  1. Surprised by how much I laughed my pants off during this because I’m not a huge fan of Family Guy, but somehow, a lot of the humor just clicked for me. MacFarlane is definitely a director to watch when it comes to making R-rated comedies. Nice review Sam.
