Entangled by Cat Clarke

When Grace Carlisle wakes up in a completely white room with nothing but a bed, desk, paper and pens to keep her company, she has no idea where she is or how she got there.

As she starts to write about recent events in her life to pass the time, a boy called Ethan enters the room to provide her 3 meals a day and clean clothes, but he doesn’t offer any information about where Grace is, how she got there or why she’s there.

Through Grace’s thoughts we learn she doesn’t have the best relationship with her mother, fell in love with Nat after meeting him at a bus stop, fell out with her best friend Sal and had plans to commit suicide.

But while Grace reflects on her life and tries to build a friendship with Ethan, the most important thing she needs to focus on is where is she?

I found this book a good read which made me not want to put it down, but the ending was disappointing as it didn't tie up the story or provide any information about the plot.

I was left wondering if some of the pages were missing.
