Henry's crime - review

Henry Torne (Keanu Reeves) is a toll booth attendant who is bored with life. With his marriage breaking down due to his wife’s desire for children, Henry knows something needs to change, but doesn’t figure that a change will come with a jail sentence.

Under the impression he and his mates are off to a softball game, Henry is caught up in their attempted robbery on a bank and when he’s convicted of being part of it, instead of turning in the real culprits, he decides to do his time in jail.

As Henry gets used to prison life, he re-evaluates what he should do with life and after becoming friendly with fellow cellmate Max (James Caan) he decides to do the robbery he’s been convicted for – if he’s already done the time, why not do the crime?

On his release Henry discovers a tunnel linking the bank to a theatre, so in order to gain access he joins the cast of the play, but while he and Max work on gaining the riches from the bank, Henry struggles with his guilt when he falls for the leading lady.

This movie, written by Geri Halliwell’s baby daddy Sacha Gervasi, was one of the worst I have ever seen and definitely the most boring.

It didn’t grab me at all and was pointless – don’t bother watching it and wasting nearly 2 hours of your life like I did.
