Like Minds - review

When schoolboy Alex Forbes (Les Misérables' Eddie Redmayne) is charged with the murder of fellow student and room-mate Nigel (Tom Sturridge), forensic psychologist Sally Rowe (Toni Collette) is brought in to work out what really happened.

As Sally learns more about the circumstances of Nigel’s death and tries to figure out what is really going on in Alex’s head, he tells her his side of the story of how Nigel was convinced he was part of an ancient secret society. But as Sally digs deeper she is entered into a strange world of secrets and mind games.

This Psychological thriller had me interested at the start, but towards the end I didn’t have a clue what had happened. I became lost in the flashbacks and the storyline so much so that I’m not sure what the ending was.

Not one of the best movies I’ve ever seen – I certainly wouldn’t recommend it.
