Imaginary Friend - review

As a child Emma invented an imaginary friend to help her through her turbulent childhood.

Now she’s grown up and married, Emma still suffers with anxiety and is afraid to go out the house, but with a trust fund to keep her going and a loving husband she spends her days painting and looking after the house.

While Emma has complete trust in her Psychiatrist husband, he has his own idea for her trust fund and tries to spend more and more without her knowledge, but when her imaginary friend reappears, Emma must work out whether her childhood issues have returned and if her husband’s intentions for her are out of love or money.

I enjoyed this TV movie and although I found the storyline intriguing, towards the end I was slightly confused.

Nevertheless, I wouldn’t hesitate to watch it again.
