Based
on a true story, Shattered Glass
follows the story of Stephen Glass, a young journalist whose latest article
sparks the interest of an online magazine after they discover not one of his facts
checks out.
As
they contact Stephen and his editor Chuck trying to verify sources, Chuck
begins to doubt his reporter and gives him every chance to come clean. But despite
his offers of help and his fellow colleagues asking him to come clean, they
have no idea how far Stephen has gone to prevent his colleagues discovering the
truth.
Starring
Hayden Christensen, Peter Sarsgaard & Chloë Sevigny, even though this movie
is a bit dry in places, I enjoyed it as it shows how far some people will go to
become known, but also how important it is to tell the truth.
This
is the 2nd time I’ve seen this movie and wouldn’t hesitate to watch
it again.
