Angels & Demons - review

Professor Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks) is back, but this time his knowledge is requested by the Vatican following the death of the pope.

With 4 cardinals kidnapped and a message left from a religious sect as well as the robbery of a scientific particle which could easily blow up Vatican City, speculation is rife that the Illuminati are still active and now working from within the church walls.

As Robert works along scientist Vittoria Vetra and the Italian police, the race is on to discover the hiding place of the cardinals before they are publicly executed in ancient churches along the pathway of illumination, but is everyone involved in the search working for or against the church?

Starring Ewan McGregor and Stellan SkarsgÄrd, this mystery thriller was an enjoyable watch with a great but slightly predictable twist at the end.

A bit too long and stretched out, but definitely worth a watch.
