Catch & Release - review

Opening with a funeral scene sets the tone for this slow moving and boring movie.

With Jennifer Garner as a grieving fiancée, this movie doesn’t really go anywhere and leaves you with questions that will never be answered.

Jennifer is Gray, a girl staying with friends of her fiancée as she tries to process his death, but when she discovers payments from his account she has no knowledge about and the discovery that he has a son, she begins to doubt whether she knew Grady at all.

Despite the movie being centered on the fiancée of the main character, we never see a picture of him or learn how he died. And after learning near the beginning of the movie that he was hiding nearly £1million dollars, we never hear about it again.

This movie was a bore and completely wasteful of Jennifer’s acting skills.
