A Perfect Murder - review

Emily & Steven Taylor are a wealthy couple in New York, but their marriage is anything but happy. With her every move controlled by her husband, Emily escapes by having an affair with artist David Sway, but her husband is aware something isn’t right and soon discovers her secret.

Under the pretence of buying some of his art, Steven confronts David about the affair and offers him a way out – he’ll forgive him if he murders Emily, the one with the real money in the relationship. Tempted, David agrees to think about it and as Steven talks him through the plan he believes he’s planned the perfect murder where nothing can go wrong.

As Emily plans to leave Steven to make a go of things with David, he begins to pull away and soon enough, as planned, Emily is attacked in her home and nearly killed, but in the struggle her attacker is the one killed much to Steven’s disappointment. But will he still get his perfect murder after all?

Starring Gwyneth Paltrow & Michael Douglas this thriller was a great watch, but didn’t keep me as gripped as other movies I’ve seen.

Worth a watch.
