When
the Jones family move into a new neighbourhood they are soon making friends and
are keen to show off their possessions.
As
the seemingly perfect family cement their position in the close knit community,
the neighbours soon start following their lead in purchasing the latest items
from new TV’s, golf clubs and cosmetics.
But
as everyone looks up to them, things start to unravel as their perfect image
begins to slip – are they really the perfect family everyone has been lead to
believe?
Starring
Demi Moore, David Duchovny and Amber Heard, The
Joneses is a dark comedy which although intrigued me at first, became
boring and I couldn’t wait for it to end.
