Pippa McGee (Heather Graham) is a 29 year old travel writer
who loves nothing more than skipping from country to country in a bid to have
fun and avoid growing up.
But when her magazine owning father has a heart
attack during her stay home, she resolves to make him proud and helps out by
editing one of his magazine – the only problem is, it’s a wedding magazine and
commitment-phobe Pippa has no idea about weddings.
In a bid to prove herself Pippa tries to put her own spin on
the magazine, but when her first issue is published to critical reviews and the
staff don’t support her ideas, she knows she has to step it up if she’s going
to be taken seriously.
As Pippa begins to enjoy the company of a new photographer
while also flirting with company vice president Ian, Pippa recruits her single
friends in an attempt to show people that it’s ok to be a single woman and
marriage isn’t necessary, but as they start pairing up & growing up, Pippa
realises that maybe love isn’t such a bad thing – but which man is the one for
her?
Co-starring Taye Diggs & Sandra Oh, this fun rom-com was
an easy watch which I wouldn’t hesitate to watch again.
