The Temp - review

Office temp Chris Bolin is determined to make it in the corporate world and won’t let anyone stand in her way.

When marketing manager Peter Dern’s secretary leaves on paternity leave, Chris is brought in to help until his return, but when Lance does return she has no intention of leaving and soon enough he’s involved in a work related accident.

With Chris starting to get involved with the right people, she is quickly promoted through the bakery company and before long is working alongside Peter, not as a secretary but as a fellow manager.

As the competition starts to hot up for the Vice Presidency, Chris makes sure she’s in the running and after it’s discovered secrets have been leaked to a rival company, two managers are found dead, but Peter already has his suspicions.

With Chris beginning to work her way up the ladder while others are being knocked off, Peter begins to wonder whether the recent events have anything to do with her, but with a history of paranoia is Peter really thinking straight?

A thrilling drama starring Lara Flynn Boyle & Faye Dunaway which shows you never really know the people you work with.
