Parental Guidance - review

Billy Crystal and Bette Midler are old fashioned grand-parents who are asked to take care of their grandchildren for the week, to the reluctance of their daughter (Marisa Tomei).

With her parenting skills previously questioned, Alice isn’t keen on leaving her children with them, but not wanting to give up the first chance she’s got to get away with her husband since the birth of their 5 year old, she finally gives in – although her anxieties are sky high.

As they all get to know each other, Artie & Diane struggle with the modern way the family have been living including no sugar, reliance on technology and an imaginary kangaroo, but as the week progresses it turns out they could all benefit from a little help from each other to have good old fashioned fun.

A family fun comedy which I enjoyed watching – absolutely one to watch.
