Fugitive at 17 - review

Teenage hacker Holly Hamilton is the sole carer of her grandma and has a passion for computers, so when her best friend Blake persuades her to go clubbing, she only agrees after they promise to stick together.

With both of them on probation following a drug charge they know they need to stay out of trouble, but when Blake disappears and Holly finds her dead in the back room of the club the trouble has only just begun.

Attacked by the same person, Holly tries to get the Philadelphia police to believe that she had nothing to do with Blake’s death, but when the drugs that killed Blake are found in Holly’s bag, she has a fight on her hands to prove her innocence.

When she's given the opportunity to escape custody, Holly decides going on the run is the only way to prove her innocence and uses her skills as a hacker to track down the real killer. With the police searching for no one else but her, Holly knows she needs to find the killer before she's caught herself, but when she takes matters into her own hands and uses herself as bait, has she gotten herself in too deep?

I found this TV drama a good watch – not totally believable in places, but it was worth watching.
