As
Anderson
prepares to propose to his ‘perfect’ girlfriend, he’s unaware that she’s being
chatted up by a waiter inside the restaurant and when he finally pops the
question, she promptly dies of a heart attack leaving both him and the waiter
devastated.
6
months later, Anderson is still obsessed with Vanessa forcing his best friend Ted
to drag him from his depression and back into reality where he spontaneously
asks diner waitress Katie to marry him.
24
hours earlier, Katie receives a marriage proposal from William, her charades
loving partner who her parents adore, but despite her love for him she declines
to answer and instead says yes to Anderson, a complete stranger.
Shocked
at her acceptance, both Katie’s and Anderson’s friends don’t believe the pair
will marry, but when Katie moves into his apartment later that day, they both
realise what a big decision they’ve made and face a series of obstacles along
the way as their friends join in on the adventure of marriage.
A
fun, but unrealistic comedy starring Jason Biggs and Isla Fisher which I would
watch again.
