Fatal Friends (aka The Wrong Girl) - review

Sophia Allen is a quiet and hard working high school student who is studying for a music scholarship to college.

When new girl Michelle starts at the school, she makes friends with Sophia and soon they’re spending most of their time together. Even joining her piano rehearsals, Michelle is soon learning all about Sophia’s life, but when she’s caught seducing Sophia’s crush and Sophia’s mother’s office is broken into, Sophia suspects Michelle may have been involved.

As Sophia distances herself and begins to spend less time with Michelle, her focus is on her school and music work, but Michelle isn’t happy about the end of their friendship and as Sophia’s family report their suspicions to the police, Sophia discovers a secret about Michelle which makes her realise why she was so keen to integrate herself in her life. But what she learns also makes her scared of what Michelle is capable of.

This afternoon TV movie was slightly predictable, but I didn’t guess the ending and thought it was definitely worth a watch.
