Nativity 3: Dude Where's my Donkey? - review

Mr Poppy and the pupils of St Bernadette’s return for another fun filled Christmas comedy this time starring Martin Clunes.

As the school prepares for a visit by a school inspector as well as the arrival of a new teacher, once again Mr Poppy does his best to get the school into the spirit of Christmas and brings a donkey into class much to the horror of headmistress Mrs Keen (Celia Imrie).  Told to return it, Mr Poppy arranges for it to be picked up, but as it says good bye to the class it kicks new teacher Mr Shepherd in the head leaving him with no memory.

With his daughter Lauren worried that he can’t remember anything, Mr Poppy and the class work together to make him remember everything he’s forgotten, but they’re in a race against time as Mr Shepherd is due to be getting married to fiancée Sophie (Catherine Tate) in New York at Christmas.

As they manage to keep his memory loss a secret, Sophie begins to wonder whether Mr Shepherd has changed his mind and allows herself to grow close again to former boyfriend flash mob king Bradley Finch (Adam Garcia). But as the class enter the flash mob competition in order to get to New York, will they make it in time for the wedding and will Mr Shepherd’s memory return in time?

As always, the Nativity movies make me laugh and are enjoyable for all ages.

With Marc Wootton and Jason Watkins in returning roles, this movie is the perfect movie to get you into the Christmas spirit.
