I've wanted to see this film since I started to see the adverts as it looked like a great British comedy and I finally had the opportunity last week, so as always I thought I'd post a review.
A brilliant British comedy caper with an all star cast. Emily Blunt stars as Rose, a petty thief and pickpocket, who after scamming a wealthy business man (Rupert Everett) finds herself being hunted by Victor Maynard - a hitman (Bill Nighy). Victor is highly skilled at his job and has never missed a hit, but after tailing Rose he begins to fall for her and instead of carrying out the hit, decides to protect her. Tony (Rupert Grint) becomes involved after trying to protect Rose when another hitman (Martin Freeman) is sent to kill both Rose and Victor. The 3 of them go on the run together, forming a strange family like group and set up home in Victor's unused house. But Victor's mother (Eileen Atkins) can't forgive her son for not going through with a hit and takes it upon herself to carry it out, with hilarious consequences.
A great watch with loveable British actors who work well together to create a must see film.
