Starring both Amanda Seyfried and Channing Tatum as Savannah and John who meet by chance while John is on leave from the US Army. In the 2 weeks he has left, they spend every minute together and realise that despite the short amount of time, they have fallen in love.
When John returns to duty and Savannah to college, they promise to write to each other in order to remain close until John returns, but it turns out to be longer than they both expected.
With both living separate lives, thousands of miles apart, life’s natural changes force them to reconsider the way they’re spending their relationship until they finally meet again.
I’m glad I’ve seen this film as it was another one I had wanted to see for a while, but I was disappointed with the ending as I didn’t feel it was clear about what had happened and left me feeling that the story wasn’t complete.
